— Due to COVID-19, volunteer opportunities are more limited in an in-person capacity. All volunteering is to be done virtually and in-person aspects are paused. We value & will prioritize the safety of our community. If there is a special skill you’d like to contribute, please let us know. We’d love to also see your support through content & resource sharing, donations and community partnerships —
Individual Ongoing: These are opportunities that require a volunteer to have weekly contact with staff and provide ongoing volunteer hours
Individual One-time: This opportunity could be a one-time event, or fundraiser perfect for the busy volunteer that has a specific passion or talent to share
- Social Media Volunteer- (ongoing) Use your tech savvy and update our Twitter and Facebook with frequent posts, engaging the community and sharing LGBTQ+ local and national/international news
- Event Volunteer – (ongoing & one time) Put your planning skills to use by working with us to plan, coordinate and facilitate events. You could help us plan an upcoming event, set up/take down, host an activity or help facilitate an event
- Journalist Volunteer – (ongoing & one time) Like to research or write? This opportunity is available for those who are interested in sharing their literary talents; highlighting resources in ID, writing articles for our website, researching LGBT events and sharing articles and links
- Fundraising Volunteer – (ongoing) Help us raise funds for our LGBTQ community by assisting with donors, fundraising and grants

We are open on Saturdays, please maintain social distancing and wear masks. We have masks available if needed. Our food pantry is open to the public. Our office hours vary, as they are based on volunteer availability. Right now we are open Saturdays 10A-12P
