The Community Center Resource Center houses a free food shelf consisting of shelf stable foods, hygiene products, and more, which is regularly updated and refreshed. This provides some relief for those experiencing food insecurity or who needs a little assistance to make it to their next paycheck.
It’s available during open business hours (Saturdays 10A-12P) and events. People can take whatever they need, when they need it. We have a list on the inside of the shelves also so we can provide what community members are in need of.
This has been supported by a Chobani grant and donations provided by community members as well as local companies (Saalt). If you or your business would like to contribute, please stop in during our open hours or send us an e-mail.
