We Offer

The Community Center facilitates and hosts community groups, events, & meetings focused on the LGBTQIAAS2+ community. Check out our calendar and social media accounts for more details on attending and updates on dates/times.

Asexual/Aromantic Group: This group is for everyone on both spectrums (asexual, aromantic, demi, grey, and anyone questioning). This event is in search of a host.

Crafty Queers:  Monthly LGBTQ+ Art times! Bring your own project (painting, crochet, drawing, etc. – whatever you want to work on) or craft a featured item.    2nd Saturday of the month from 1PM-5PM – Open art – Bring your own or use the supplies at TCC.
3rd Saturday of the month from 11AM-1PM – Fiber Creations – Knitting and crocheting alternate months.
3rd Saturday of the month from 1PM-5PM – Open art – Bring your own or use the supplies at TCC. A featured art is usually also offered.

Game Night:  Held monthly on the last Friday of each month. Come down to The Community Center for a night of board games! We have a nice selection of board and card games! Meeting details can be found on The Community Center’s Facebook Events page. 

LGBTQ+ Book Club: Bimonthly LGBTQ+ book club. Group meets on the 2nd Monday of every other month (January, March, May, July, September, November). You can get your book locally at Rediscovered Books – mention the book club and save 10%. Group is ideal for ages 16+. Meeting details can be found on The Community Center’s Facebook Events page.

Tri-States Transgender: TCC hosts The Tri-State Transgender meetings. Their mission is to help advance the needs of the transgender community through education, support, and advocacy. 

Youth Alliance for Diversity: Youth Alliance for Diversity: YAD (Youth Alliance for Diversity) provides a safe environment that fosters education, socialization, and a sense of unity within the community. Strives to provide youth with the opportunity to meet and receive the support of other youth who are gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgender, questioning, or straight supportive, and to provide the opportunity to interact with positive adult role models in a safe, non-threatening environment. YAD is open to all LGBT and allies aged 20 and under. 

If you have a group interested in utilizing the space for a one time or ongoing function please e-mail us with details. Space is available as-needed and is on a sliding scale for outside organizations.
