Massage Technique Class for Home Use
Massage Technique Class for Home Use
May 18, 2024 @ 4:30 pm – 6:00 pm
The Community Center – TCC, 1088 N Orchard St, Boise, ID 83702, USA
This class is designed to teach two things: how to use massage techniques at home to give better massages, and how to relax your body to receive the full benefit from a massage. Bring a friend/partner or come alone and meet someone new to learn these skills with.
Registration is required for this class as attendance is limited. Please register at https://forms.gle/PDehMGyVu7xYrCjN9
Fiirst, we will work on how to relax as a massage recipient! We will begin by working on breathing and posture before moving onto massage techniques. The second thing you will learn is how to give great massages on the most commonly sore areas– hands, feet, shoulders and neck. Don’t worry – if you don’t want to touch a particular area (such as feet), you can practice the other things we’re learning.
This class is designed for participants 18+ years of age, however, attendees 16-17 years old may attend only if they participate with their parent or guardian. This is a group event and will be in a living room type setting. You will remain clothed for the event, although you may need to remove your shoes and/or socks if you participate in foot massage. Please consider personal hygiene for this activity; be considerate of the people you will be working around and come to this event showered and clean (particularly feet).
